The Jesuit Refugee Service offers
Friendship, Education, and Advocacy
to refugees in Chad
Photographer Don Doll, SJ, traveled to eastern Chad in March 2009, documenting life in camps for Sudanese refugees forced to flee their country and also for Chadeans who are IDP’s, internally displaced persons. These refugees, among the world’s most marginalized, face impoverished lives in impoverished countries but get assistance from the Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS).
