Call for Entries!
Company once again invites you to submit your best Jesuit-related photos, this time for our third photo contest in our Summer 2002 issue.
Do you have some favorite photos that portray facets of the Ignatian world? A photo of an old Jesuit church in Mexico you visited on vacation? A first communion at your Jesuit parish? A striking photo of a graduation ceremony or an alumni reunion? We'd like to see it and share it with our 120,00 readers.
Send in color or black and white prints, copies (not originals) of slides, or electronic images (300 dots per inch at 3" x 5" or better), as many as you want. E-mail to editor@companymagazine.org or mail to Company Photo Contest, PO Box 60790, Chicago, IL 60660-0790. Accompany each submission with a 25- to 50-word description of the image and how it fits into the Ignatian world.
Give us a sentence or two in which you state that your submission or submissions are your work and that we at Company have your OK to run them in the magazine and post them on our website.
Let us know also whether you are entering as an amateur or a professional photographer, the latter being someone who has studied photography extensively and/or makes or made a living as a photographer. Please include your mailing address and daytime phone and e-mail.
First-place winners in both categories will receive a prize of $250; second-place winners $100, third-place winners $50, and all honorable mentions $25.
Deadline for submission: May 3, 2002.
